USAGE: Suha missed the bus to school. But it had a puncture on its way and arrived half an hour late. Every cloud has a silver lining!!!
MEANING: There is something good in any situation no matter how bad it may seem.
ORIGIN: Have you ever seen a cloud with the sun behind it??? Well the centre of the cloud is still dark and scary like its going to start pouring any minute,but the edges look silvery in colour due to the sun and they give you a feeling of warmth and safety.
